Arrival/Departure
Due to lack of supervision before 8:30am, students may not be dropped off before 8:30am. Boys and girls gather on the playground on days when the weather is above 32°F. Students should report to the gym or designated hallways during bad weather. All students must be picked up by 4:00pm, when supervision ends. All students left after that time will be sent to the After Care program where parents may be assessed a drop-in fee.
Parent Pick-up and Drop-off
Adherence to the established traffic plan is required. Morning drop-off may only occur on the south side of the school at the front of the building. The north side of the building is for buses and daycare only and is not to be used for parent pick-up. Vehicles should not be left unattended along the curbs. The outside lane must be left open at all times to allow traffic to flow smoothly. Students are not allowed to cross the driveway to the parking lot unless accompanied by an adult. Entry and exit from handicap parking spaces should remain unblocked at all times.

Visitors
Visitors and volunteers are directed to enter and exit the building through the front lobby doors. Parents wishing to eat lunch with their children or picking them up are asked to wait in the lobby area rather than go to the classrooms. Guest tables are provided for parents joining their child for lunch. Visitor stickers are required to be worn by all adults while at Centennial. All visitors must sign in and out in the office and obtain a VISITOR sticker.
Sick Students
Students with a temperature of 100 degrees or higher may not remain at school. Students that vomit during school may not remain at school. Parents will be contacted to pick up their child. Students may return to school when they have been fever free for 24 hours. It is the responsibility of parents to provide the school with current emergency phone numbers. Also, any student who is vomiting or has diarrhea must be excluded from school for a 24 hour period.

Student Belongings
Students should not bring money to school unless it is for lunches or at the school's request. All lunch containers, backpacks and clothing should be marked with the name of the owner. Items collected in Lost & Found that go unclaimed will be given to a local charity at the end of the school year. Students are prohibited from bringing laser pointers to school. Students should refrain from bringing valuable electronic items and toys to school, as they may get lost or damaged. Dangerous weapons, including toys or facsimiles, may not be brought to school at any time.
